Acceptance of these terms
By using nestandhavens.com or booking a service, you agree to these terms. If any part of a signed project agreement differs, the signed agreement prevails for that project.
Our services
Nest & Havens provides home renovation services including interior decor, exterior and garden work, home security, fire safety, financing and warranty guidance, roofing, solar, windows, flooring, and bathroom remodeling. Services are provided as described in your written quote and agreement.
Quotes are not contracts
A quote is an estimate of scope, materials, and timing. It becomes binding only when both parties sign the project agreement. Material prices and site conditions can change; we will notify you in writing before any change that affects scope or cost.
Approvals and scope changes
Work begins after written approval. Changes to the agreed scope during a project are confirmed in writing before we proceed, with any impact on cost and timeline explained plainly.
Scheduling and access
We schedule around your availability and the nature of the work. Exterior work — roofing, solar, landscaping — may be adjusted for weather, and we will communicate those adjustments as soon as they are known. You will provide reasonable access to the work areas.
Payments and financing guidance
Payment schedules are set out in your project agreement. We may guide you toward financing and warranty options and introduce you to partners we trust, but we are not lenders and do not provide financial advice; final terms are always between you and the provider.
Warranties
Completed workmanship is backed by our workmanship warranty, and materials carry their manufacturers warranties, which we pass through to you in writing at handover. Warranties do not cover ordinary wear, damage caused by third parties, or areas not included in the signed scope.
Safety and insurance
Our teams follow applicable building and safety practices, and fire safety work follows the relevant standards. We carry the insurance appropriate to the work we do, and we will share documentation when a specific project requires it.
Your responsibilities
Please keep work areas clear where practical, tell us about anything unusual — old wiring, pets, restrictions — and be reachable for the decisions that keep a project moving.
Intellectual property
The content on this website — text, photographs, and design — belongs to Nest & Havens unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to share it, with credit where it is due.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount paid for the work concerned, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project with written notice. You remain responsible for work completed and materials ordered up to the date of cancellation, and we will finish work in a safe, orderly state.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any disputes will be handled in the courts serving the region.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of the page shows the current version. For active projects, the terms in your signed agreement apply.
